Prospect Gymnastics, as a summer camp organizer, provides a specialized program focused on physical development, creative expression, and social engagement. Their services are tailored to deliver an enriching and fun-filled experience for children during school breaks. Here’s a detailed look at the services offered during their summer camps:
- Gymnastics Training: The core of their summer camp program involves structured gymnastics training. This includes instruction on various apparatus and floor exercises, designed to help children build strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Coaches guide children through step-by-step progressions, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Parkour Elements: Incorporating modern movement, the camp often includes elements of parkour. This allows children to develop agility, balance, and problem-solving skills as they navigate obstacle courses and engage in dynamic movements in a safe and supervised environment.
- Crafts and Creative Activities: Beyond physical activity, Prospect Gymnastics integrates creative activities and crafts into their camp schedule. This provides a well-rounded experience, encouraging artistic expression and offering a balance to the more high-energy physical sessions.
- Student Performances: Campers often get the opportunity to participate in student performances. This allows children to showcase the skills they've learned, build confidence in front of an audience, and experience the joy of collective achievement.
- Age-Appropriate Programming: Their summer camps are tailored to specific age groups, typically catering to children aged 4 to 10 or 11 years old. This ensures that activities and instruction are developmentally appropriate and maximize engagement for all participants.
- Experienced and Knowledgeable Coaches: The camp benefits from the expertise of highly praised coaches who are described as "very nice and knowledgeable." They excel at guiding children to success, providing individual attention due to small class sizes, and fostering a supportive team environment.
- Flexible Weekly Sessions: Summer camps are typically offered in week-long sessions, providing flexibility for parents to enroll their children for multiple weeks or just a single week, depending on their summer schedule.
- Extended Care Options: For added convenience, Prospect Gymnastics offers extended care options, allowing for earlier drop-off and later pick-up for an additional fee. This is a crucial service for working parents.
- Focus on Confidence and Skill Building: The camp's philosophy emphasizes building confidence and self-esteem alongside physical skills. Coaches encourage children to take safe risks, try new things, and learn from mistakes, promoting holistic development.
- Clean and Well-Maintained Facility: While not a direct service, the camp operates within a clean and well-maintained gymnastics facility, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for all activities.

Apr 16, 2025 · Miss SmithWonderful place to have an affordable kids party! The staff are very accommodating and make it super easy. Plus, they are super hands on with the kids! Highly recommend.
Jun 09, 2025 · Jane KatzI have been bringing my 2 year old here for PG's open play sessions for a few months and she loves it. Though the space can feel a little small if there happen to be more kids than usual there's always room for her to tumble and bounce her crazies out. The staff are also great with the kids. Coach Bre does a fantastic job engaging with the kids which you don't always get from staff during open play times at other places. I'm stoked that this place is part of our community.
Nov 15, 2024 · Brandon RohwerMy daughter loves prospect gymnastics. The teachers are so fun and she can’t wait to go every week. Even though she’s learning so much it just feels like fun to her. We just had her birthday party there on Saturday and the kids had an exciting hour of gymnastics games while their parents got to hang out in peace in the backyard. Afterwards we all ate cake together in the yard. A perfect party for both kids and adults. My kid keeps saying how perfect the party was.
