Running Kids stands as a highly suitable and appealing option for locals in New York, particularly families with young, energetic children. Its core appeal lies in providing a massive indoor space dedicated entirely to children's play, a feature that is invaluable in an urban setting where outdoor play can be weather-dependent or limited by space. For parents in Brooklyn and surrounding areas, this means a reliable and expansive venue for their children to run, jump, climb, and simply be kids, regardless of rain, snow, or extreme heat.
One of the most significant advantages, as highlighted by customer feedback, is the sheer size of the play area. Described as "huge" with "lots of tunnels" and an "ocean of plastic balls," it offers ample room for children to explore and burn off energy. This vastness addresses a common parental need: a place where kids aren't confined and can truly stretch their legs and imaginations. The ability for parents to accompany their children into the play structures is also a major draw, fostering family bonding and providing reassurance about safety and supervision. This hands-on approach allows parents to actively participate in their child's playtime, creating shared joyful experiences.
Moreover, the friendly staff, as consistently praised in reviews, contributes significantly to a welcoming atmosphere. While there might be occasional issues with communication or maintenance, the staff's positive demeanor and helpfulness ensure that visitors feel supported and that the overall experience remains pleasant. The adherence to safety protocols, such as checking COVID vaccine cards, also provides an additional layer of comfort for health-conscious families, demonstrating a commitment to visitor well-being.
While some older equipment and maintenance issues in certain areas like the arcade or bathrooms have been noted, the core play experience remains robust and enjoyable. The primary value of Running Kids lies in its vast, engaging play structures and the freedom it offers children. For a reasonable price of $21.77 for one child and an adult, it presents an accessible option for an afternoon of active fun. For locals seeking a dependable, large-scale indoor playground that prioritizes active play and offers opportunities for family engagement, Running Kids is an excellent choice right here in the heart of Brooklyn. It truly is a place "where a kid can feel like a kid and enjoy with their parents."

Running Kids Reviews
A LOT of games are out of service, and the actual play place doesn’t seem well maintained or lit up . It looks really dark, but some of the slides look fun and there is a lot of place for children to run. The price is 21.77 for one child and an adult. The workers are nice, there are only two and one doesn’t understand English very well.
Jul 09, 2024 · Yongyi ChenThey check your COVID vaccine card, which is great!Love this place!Huge play area!An ocean of plastic balls for your child to swim in. Lots of tunnels in the play area to have fun in. Parents are allowed to follow their children in the play area. Friendly staff. I usually order a water, sprite and their yummy French fries. My only issues with this place…The arcade is mostly all third party manufacturers and many are broken. It’s such a waste of space, since they can create more seating for parents to order more food and relax with a beverage. Another issue is the bathrooms; They are filthy. They aren’t cleaned frequently. Bathrooms should be bleached and wiped daily. I could clean that bathroom perfectly in 15 minutes, but it’s not my job.My last issue is that some floors and cushion play equipment is very worn and requires replacement. This place is where a kid can feel like a kid and enjoy with their parents. I have a blast with my daughter and husband.
Nov 23, 2021 · Sharon ShapiroIt was clean. That was the biggest thing for me. I wanted to make sure that The child could go to a place where she does not have to worry.Being in Brooklyn it's hard to find a spot like this. It had the ball pit, video games, slides and places where the kids can jump up and down. Even I had fun. LOL Where the main ball pit is there is a game where you have to throw things or hit the creatures. That kept me busy a few minutes and other kids were having a blast as well.I would suggest calling in advance because they do have parties there. They were kind enough to give us a few extra tokens because the party was within an hour and a half of what we got there. The food we did not eat but it's typical junk food.Overall, it's a great place to take the kids. The girls up front speak English well. The ladies inside I am not so sure of. LOL It's a place that we plan on going to again.Edit: Think this is new policy. They charge an extra $5 per adult if more than 1 parent.
Oct 12, 2019 · flm JIGWent to my nephews birthday party here and honestly save your money. For the amount that is spent, Noone helps you set up, you are rushed to leave, the workers are rude, shutting machines down as people are still playing..literally mopping the floor as little kids are still trying to get cake.If your place closes at 8pm then you shouldn't have a offer that ends at exactly 8.
Jan 13, 2025 · CarolineA lot of games are out of service and some equipment broken. Recently they have started to charge for every adult 7$ extra and 21.79 per child. So disappointed never come back.
