Omaha Gymnastics Academy, North Campus Reviews
3 years ago, we started attending Premier. Immediately after the first class with Ms. Syd, my daughter was in heaven. Constantly asking when she was going back. Her skills and CONFIDENCE quickly escalated and now she is on team getting ready to enter her FIRST meet season.Over these past few years, she has made some of the BEST friends, and I have bonded with a group of those 'gym moms' who are the kindest, caring, stand-for-nothing type of people. Most importantly, my daughter is having so much fun and for spending 9 + hours a WEEK at the gym, this is what parents want to hear. Her favorite is when Mr. Tom (the owner) comes and coaches because as she says 'he's so funny, makes me laugh, and helps me be the best'. Words from a 7 year old.If you are looking for a gym where you will be surrounded by a true sense of team, THIS IS YOUR PLACE.
Sep 16, 2021 · Michele YatesOGA is an amazing gym with high-caliber coaching and facilities. We are part of the competitive team programs and are consistently impressed with the coaching and team environment! We highly recommend OGA.
Feb 26, 2025 · Nikki McLeayOur daughters have gone to Premier since they were 18 months old and are both on team. We seriously could not ask for a better gym environment coaches, parents, and staff. They are very good at what they do and it shows in the girls performances when they compete! If you want your child to excel this is the place for you - they will coach not coddle, they want your child to achieve success in all areas and the girls have a great time learning from their coaches, especially with Mr. Tom he knows his stuff, the smiles and giggles they have when leaving the floor with him is priceless.
Sep 15, 2021 · Kelsey HodgesMy Daughter Grace has been in the program going on 3 years and has excelled in every way. Premier is her favorite place to follow her love of Gymnastics. We have had a disagreement with the owners on one occasion but they were very professional and accommodating to our family. They were open to communication and we both left feeling great about this gym. We highly recommend Premier Gymnastics! A great place for your kids to learn, grow, and have fun.
Sep 16, 2021 · JR BryantWe came for a team tryout and were treated so poorly by the other families we encountered. The level of pretentiousness was disgusting. My daughter also fully felt it by the team girls she encountered. It was clear that my child was seen as a threat rather than an asset and that she had to prove herself to be of benefit to THEM, before she would be welcomed in any way. Not a way to encourage team unity, that’s for sure. A whole lot of pointing and “who’s that girl” from parents accompanied by criticism, not knowing that I could see and hear them the whole time. There’s definitely an “in crowd” here and we were not welcome to be part of it. I’ve had that sense for years from the gymnastics meets we’ve attended hosted by Premier in prior years, but we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and a shot when we were forced to find a new gym. Nope, it’s even WORSE! I’m looking for a welcoming and affirming environment for my child, not a place that rivals “Dance Moms” on TV. The fact that families feel emboldened to act like this is also a reflection on the business practices and professionalism of the gym. Reading other reviews, this doesn’t surprise me. We luckily found our new home elsewhere and couldn’t be happier! Premier cares more about fanciness and money than they do about building the positive character of their gymnasts, and it definitely shows. All of this trickles down from the TOP!
