This ease of access is a key factor in Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood's appeal, reducing travel time and making it a practical choice for regular visits and planned events for locals across Washington.
Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood offers a vast and varied selection of attractions and services, ensuring there's something to excite every visitor, from the youngest adventurers to the young at heart. Their focus is on active play, combining the thrill of bouncing with challenging obstacles and unique experiences. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect:
- Launch Zone: The core trampoline area for free jumping, cartwheels, handstands, and defying gravity.
- The Paw Pit: Described as a "mega huge" ball pit, perfect for hiding, swimming laps, or just diving into a soft landing (though one review noted the absence of a "giant ball pit like the website says," this might be a specific location discrepancy or a change).
- Tube-Topia: An indoor tubing experience with side-by-side slides, allowing for racing competitions down inflatable ramps.
- Leaping Leopard Giant Airbag: A massive airbag for practicing flips, jumps, and acrobatic skills with a soft landing.
- Ninja Cat Course: A challenging obstacle course designed to test speed, reflexes, agility, and strength, similar to popular ninja warrior competitions.
- Climbing Attractions:
- Free Climb / Cliffhanger: A rock climbing wall that allows participants to test their climbing skills and then fall safely into an airbag below.
- Giant Cat Tree: A mesh cylinder climbing attraction where participants can test their upper body strength and agility.
- Inflatable Challenges:

- Slides:
- Leaping Leopard Slide / Catapult Mega Chute: A large, "mega huge" slide for quick and exhilarating descents.
- Wave Slides: Side-by-side slides for racing friends.
- Quadruple Drop: Another slide option that drops participants directly into the action.
- Ropes Course:
- Flying Leopard / Cat Walk: An elevated obstacle ropes course, possibly including a zip line component, testing coordination and balance (requires harness).
- Kids Area: Dedicated zones for smaller children to play safely.
- Arcade Games: Additional entertainment options beyond the main attractions.
- Birthday Parties: Catapult Adventure Park offers party packages, typically including jump time, access to attractions, and dedicated party areas.
- Memberships: Affordable monthly membership options, such as the "Cub membership" ($15/month for 2 hours daily for toddlers under 42") and "Catapult Monthly" ($25/month for 2 hours daily for all attractions, excluding harnessed activities & Tube-Topia). These offer significant value for frequent visitors.
- Day Passes: Various ticket options for single visits, including 90-minute, 120-minute, and all-day passes.
Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood features several highlights that aim to make it a premier amusement destination in Washington. However, it's also important to acknowledge customer feedback that points to areas for improvement.
- Massive Size and Variety of Attractions: A major highlight is the sheer scale of the park and the extensive range of activities. As one reviewer stated, "Place was huge with lots to do." This includes an impressive list of unique inflatables like Tube-Topia, the Ninja Cat Course, climbing walls, various slides, and interactive challenges, offering more than just traditional trampolines.
- Affordable Membership Options: The "Cub membership" at $15/month (for toddlers) and the "Catapult Monthly" at $25/month for 2 hours of daily play offer "the best deal in town" for frequent visitors. This affordability makes it a viable option for families seeking regular entertainment, especially during Washington's rainy seasons.
- Accessible to All Ages (with restrictions): While some attractions have height/age restrictions (e.g., harness activities), many are open for various ages, including a "small little kids zone." The park aims to provide fun for everyone from young children to adults.
- Emphasis on Active Play: The entire park is designed to encourage physical activity, helping kids (and adults) "run around and burn energy" in a fun and engaging way. This aligns with promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
- Easy Check-in Process: A positive customer experience noted that "Check in was ez and the lady at the front was nice and gave us free socks," indicating a smooth start to the visit.
- Convenient Indoor Location: Being an indoor facility means it's a perfect year-round destination, providing entertainment regardless of the weather outside.
However, it's crucial to address areas highlighted by customer reviews that could detract from the experience: "a few things were deflated," "no giant ball pit like the website says," and critically, "Employees look lazy, dirt, never a smile on a face, mean mugging for no reason, no one over the age of 20 and seem very childish and immature, they act and look like they don't want to be here, no interaction with guest or children." These points about equipment maintenance and staff demeanor are significant and suggest a need for consistent oversight to ensure all attractions are fully operational, the facility is clean, and customer service meets a high standard to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

In conclusion, Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood presents itself as a compelling indoor amusement park, particularly well-suited for locals across the Washington region seeking an active and engaging entertainment option. Its "huge" space filled with a variety of attractions, including unique inflatables, challenging courses, and ample trampoline zones, offers significant value for energetic kids and families looking to burn off steam. The affordability of its membership options, like the $15/month Cub membership, is a major draw, providing an excellent solution for regular indoor activities during Washington's often rainy winters. The ease of check-in and the positive experience with the front desk staff, including receiving free socks, further enhance the initial impression.
While the park clearly delivers on its promise of extensive activities, it is important for potential visitors to acknowledge and for the park to address the feedback regarding equipment maintenance (some deflated items, discrepancy about the ball pit) and, more critically, the reported issues with staff engagement and facility cleanliness. Consistent attention to these details is vital for any amusement center, especially one catering to families. Despite these areas for improvement, Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood's core offering of diverse, active fun in an accessible indoor setting makes it a highly suitable and attractive option for families in Tacoma and surrounding Washington communities who are seeking an affordable and stimulating environment for their children to play, explore, and create joyful memories. It truly aims to be a regular stop for locals, providing a much-needed outlet for energy and entertainment year-round.

Catapult Adventure Park Lakewood Reviews
Canceled our skyzone membership so was looking for something affordable for kids to do during rainy days. Decided on the cub membership which is $15/mo (best deal in town) but i didn’t like or understand the $10 activation fee each and weird 15% addition. Total was about $55. Still worth being able to play 2hrs everyday. Place was huge with lots to do, a few things were deflated but wasn't a huge deal. There is no giant ball pit like the website says but kids are free to do almost everything on their own (except harness activities). We went on a thurs day night and it wasn't busy at all. Check in was ez and the lady at the front was nice and gave us free socks. Looking forward to making this a regular stop for us this winter

May 03, 2025 · Ramon MendezHad our daughter's 3rd birthday here and she had a blast! The facility and all of the activities there were amazing and she loved them! But I really want to highlight the manager there, Rachel! Rachel was phenomenal! There were a couple hiccups because some of her staff forgot to add a pizza or the computer system deleted some of our guests. She made sure to give us discounts or extra time for the inconvenience. She was clearly understaffed or has incompetent staff working with her, but she was always very helpful and running around staying on top of it all! We will absolutely be back solely because of her and her actions! Thank you for making my daughter's 3rd birthday memorable, we really appreciate it!
May 10, 2025 · calmarsavage1We have been there multiple time and the kids has a blast. They are all over the place running around and having a lot of fun. It is sometimes hard to keep track of them. The last time we were there it wasn’t the best experience. Unfortunately they were under staffed and that lead to the overhead obstacles courses were closed, the climbing wall were closed. The one slide with the tubes needed a water spray bottle , which was not available when we got there. We had to go stand back in line just to ask them if there is a spray bottle. They gave us one and asked us to go and refill it, which is not a problem.Even under all these circumstances the staff were helpful whenever they could, and they were very kind.I will definitely be back there, but will give them a call to make sure everything works.
Apr 09, 2024 · Izahn Van ZylWorked on this park with my bare hands, hung Sheetrock, installed the speakers and wired them, ran the cable for the cameras, and had to fill the concrete gaps in along with a bunch of kids hired for part time work. Also did a bunch of detailing for the painters and set up the massage chairs. Wish I could’ve seen the finished product. Those inflatables (especially the big one off to the left of the building with the hoops to jump to.) are really fun. Those sticky socks are necessary though lol
