The Block Reviews
I searched for fun places for kids. Found this place. The Block. We got there as it opened at 1pm.I live out of town in a small town so my daughter had been wanting to go someplace like this she had been to ones in the city around Charlotte before. We got there the staff were helpful. They let us walk through and see what was going on inside so we could know what they had to offer. We were hungry from the drive and wanted to eat first. One of the staff recommended a restaurant The Lost Wombat. This restaurant is owned by the same person who owns The Block. And is right around the corner a short distance. We went there the food was great then we went back to The Block.Prices were reasonable we stayed there close to 5 hours my three and a half year old daughter had a wonderful time. There were plenty enough other children for her to play with so she didn't get bored. We had a fun time watching her. We will definitely come back. I'm very glad that there is places like this without going all the way to Charlotte or another big city. There is also a skating ring and some other activities that older kids could do so their stuff there for all ages.Just overall a great place.
Jan 10, 2025 · Mike CreppsSkating, trampoline park, foam pit, ping pong, arcade and snack bar. Lots of fun for kids and adults. Some of the activities are extra. Check out the website for prices.❤️ I love that there are designated areas for adults to watch their children or relax in a recliner . (Coffee would be a bonus if they offered it sometime lol) The snack bar offers a bar area to eat at, seating area & couches for relaxng and watching tv, and the same snacks you would find at a skating rink. Speaking of the skating rink, they offer skates and rollerblades for an extra (nominal) fee. A seating area around the rink offers another place to land and join family and friends. The price is decent and it provides a safe, family friendly environment to decompress a lot of energy and have a blast doing it! 🎉 I would give 5 stars once some areas were updated/a little cleaner. Overall, I thonk it's great and highly recommend it. 🩷
Feb 21, 2025 · RobinSo much to do for anyone and plenty of seating for those who just want to rest! Great for just an afternoon out, birthday parties, or just because! Arcade games, giant trampolines and an area for the little ones, go karts, skating, rock wall climbing, mini golf; I mean, they've got it all! Tons of drinks for sell and they even make pizza! You won't regret stopping here!
Jun 27, 2025 · Victoria CryselIt was okay. But I'm giving 3 stars because you should pay 1 price to do everything. But instead you have to pay to jump, and to do the climbing wall you have to pay more which they need to do some work on it. And you have to pay another price to do the ball thing. Which is ridiculous. When you could just pay 1 at price to do everything. Including the skating. I understand you pay for that separate. But everything else they should let you do with the jump pass. That's just my opinion. But overall it was great!!! My son loved it and the price was good. Except they could raise the price a little bit and include everything with the jump pass except the skating.
Jul 25, 2024 · Ashley LaShay WikeI visited this place back on March 3rd with my daughter. We had never been before and were invited by her classmates parents and a couple of other girls joined us as well. We live in Mooresville so it was a little out of the way but the drive was very nice. The place is huge with a lot to offer. It's actually so big that there are areas we didn't get a chance to see. The girls rollerbladed & rollerskated for quite a while until our time to go down for the gelly ball. That was pretty cool, and us parents put gear on and ran around behind them getting photos. Once done, we headed over to get some food, and we're a little disappointed. It was maybe around 6 pm, and yes they close at 7 on a Sunday, but they only had 2 slices of pizza left and weren't offering to make more. We were a total of 7 people so we definitely would've purchased a pie or two. I almost feel like an announcement should be made leading up to the time that they'll no longer be cooking anything or that the kitchen area will be wrapping up. We allowed the kids to play and enjoy themselves without interruption really hoping to have had dinner there. Sadly, that didn't work out, and we were all hungry. Regardless, we allowed the kids to jump in the bounce area and play some arcade games up until closing time. We all rushed home since we were over an hour away and just grabbed drive thru near our homes. Another small complaint was must cleanliness seems people left their trash behind on tables and such but no one was quickly trying to clean them up and wipe them down. We had to clear off an area ourselves to sit at in the bounce area. We may consider returning again but not totally sure.
