SportsHouse Reviews
Great price and great place when you want sweat yourself. The sports house has volleyball, soccer, basketball, table tennis...The best part here is the restaurant. Gelato, salads, pizza, drinks, beer! You can have good time with friends or family.
Oct 19, 2024 · Yuhua ChenThis place used to be very welcoming, where everyone was treated kindly and respectfully. However, under the new owner, the prices have become absurd, and he is completely disrespectful, rude, and impolite to customers. We made a reservation, and even after paying, we were treated as if we were doing him a favor by being there. If you frequent this place, be cautious of the new owner, or consider finding a friendlier and more respectful environment. If you don’t know how to treat people properly, DON’T RUN A BUSINESS THAT INVOLVES DEALING WITH PEOPLE.
Mar 22, 2025 · Mateus GuimarãesUnfortunately I can't give zero stars. My friends and I have been members of Sportshouse for about two years. In the first year, there was a very good, polite, and kind staff, but that changed. Since last year, the employees seem unprepared, with the exception of Manny, who is always nice. The worst employee is Elizabeth; she is hostile, rude, and always in a bad mood, but we were overlooking that. However, yesterday (March 21), we felt completely disrespected by a person who claimed to be the owner of Sportshouse. That’s right, the owner. An entirely unprepared person to serve the public treated us rudely, mocked our group, and almost kicked us out of the place, which we pay to access, and where there was a scheduling mix-up due to his team’s mistake. The most interesting point is that the owner addressed only our group, which has a majority of Latin members. Our group has decided not to return to the location; they will lose about 20 members. Speaking of members, they are practicing outrageous pricing; the membership cost around $30 three months ago, and now it’s $100.
Mar 22, 2025 · Anderson MedeirosThis place was an alternative to the always crowded sand courts and in the beginning it was great to have an affordable place to play volleyball, the price was fair and there were always courts available at a suitable time for drop in.As the years went by it became absurdly more expensive and people paid for the membership without having any guarantee of getting a court to play, the reservation also became more expensive and the employees were less and less willing to serve customers, always rude and not at all helpful, however I believe that if they kept the price affordable it would continue to be a good alternative. But the new owner of the place simply made it impossible to continue going to this place, I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone, sad to say the least.
Mar 22, 2025 · Afonso BrandaoWish I could give zero stars. The new owner is very rude and unprofessional. We rented a volleyball court for an hour and also paid for a daily pass so we could play until 11 PM (which was the closing time we were told by the employees when we called to book the court). Later, the owner told us they would be closing at 10:30 PM. We complained, explaining that we were told they would close at 11 PM (which is also stated on their website) and that we only purchased the daily pass because of that—otherwise, we wouldn’t have needed it.In a very hostile and rude manner, he said that he’s the new owner and that we should go by what he says. He also told us that if our entire group ever wanted to return, we would have to follow his rules. Very rude.We used to love coming here to have a good time, but it’s time to find a new place. Hope he’s happy losing at least 15 memberships—WHICH, BY THE WAY, HE INCREASED FROM $30 TO $100.
