Aug 26, 2018 · Celestine BellI am a female coach which train a 5th grade Basketball team of boys. A staff member by name of Randy address me in a sexist manner stating that I should be coaching a girls team and suggested that I should trade with one of the fathers for a girls team. I was ask if I was interested in coaching a womens team or would I like to play on the volleyball team at rec. I do NOT have the interest in either of these team.Further may I add that my team has been practicing on the outside of this rec. because a local, but partner school is using the inside for practice of their team. While using the outside goals for practice Mr. Randy told me I could no longer practice my boys on the outside of the rec. PLUS he stated he does not care what the parents had to say about it. "He is responsible for the entrie rec. Inside and Out." keep your team off the court?????"He states that he concern for the kids" is the next comment he made. Like I am harming them or I don't know what I am doing???I am truely blown by the personal statements of this staff member Randy.
