Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking a fun and sustainable way to stay active, Regulate provides an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
For many Californians, an active lifestyle is paramount, but so is the need to protect their bodies from high-impact stress. Regulate perfectly addresses this by focusing on low-impact exercises that deliver significant results without compromising joint health. The mini trampoline classes are not only an excellent source of cardio that will make you sweat, but they also incorporate resistance band work for comprehensive arm, leg, and core strengthening. This holistic approach ensures a full-body workout that builds strength, improves endurance, and boosts overall well-being, all while minimizing the risk of injury.
What truly sets Regulate apart, as highlighted by its dedicated clientele, is the personal touch and inclusive atmosphere cultivated by Lisa. She meticulously watches each participant's form, offering personalized adjustments and modifications to prevent discomfort or injury. This level of individual attention, rare in larger group fitness settings, ensures that every member, regardless of their fitness level, body type, or any pre-existing conditions, feels seen, supported, and confident in their workout. The smaller class sizes (maximum 6 participants) foster a more intimate and community-oriented feeling, making each session a truly personalized and enjoyable experience. Regulate Reviews
I have been going to Lisa for years, at her previous studio Burn and now Regulate. With her coaching, she has helped me recover from lots of sprained ankles as well as helping me get in form for half marathons.Regulate is her new studio (mini trampoline) and for those of us with knee/joint issues, these classes are great since they are low impact cardio and lots of fun. The class also incorporates the use of resistance bands for arms/legs as well as core work. This is considered low impact but make no mistake, you will work up a good sweat :-)I have always felt that Lisa has created a space that is inclusive (gender, body type, athletic ability, etc). Not only is she super nice, she really takes the time to watch everyone's form and make needed adjustments to help you avoid pain/injury. She always asks what your areas of concern (ie knee pain, other pain) and offers great modifications. I like how the classes are a bit smaller (6 max) and you definitely get a more intimate feeling versus a larger class. The wind down session is also a great to relax your mind and so you can get back to tackling life.
