Vail Epic Discovery Reviews
Paid full price for 2 teens & 2 adults & were not aware of closed attractions. Basically the Alpine Coaster was the only thing to do if you're not a small child. There was a rock wall & a trampoline attraction, but there was no ropes course entry or zip lining available. Definitely disappointed.Better off driving to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park for half the price and 10x the fun if you're a teen! Their rides are EPIC!!!
Jun 20, 2025 · Brandy WhiteThis is where half stars would be better - it's not a 3, nor a 4. The views are amazing and we loved the all day gondola pass. But the value is borderline at best. I'd probaby suggest invest in another activity if budget and time are factors You'll not get views like these in the valley, but the cost is so much, it's borderline being worth it. The coaster was fun, but for ~$40 and less than 2 minutes?!? Glad we did it / glad we could afford it.
Jul 03, 2022 · Eric GothamMountain coaster staff and experience was great. However, our 5-year old nephew’s tube stopped halfway down the mini tube slide. No one from staff went to help him or instruct him on what to do next, but were quick to berate my husband when he went to go get him. They finally said “ok fine you can get him but make it quick.” Very unsafe and rude behavior in addition to the fact that the ride did not work.
Aug 31, 2024 · Shyama AppareddyWay too expensive for 30 second activities. Staff was rude, charged us before letting us know - No open toe shoes!! Then we walked to the first “adventure” where the staff member berated my 8 year old for her choice of footwear. Add to that a broken gondola, shuttle ride over a mile long stretch, 30 minute wait for said shuttle. In total = save your money and don’t go!!
Jul 12, 2024 · Jason MitchellWe weren't going to visit because of all the bad reviews, but stumbled across it on accident! Kids ride the gondola free with each paying adult. Wait till you get to the top to decide and pay for activities, you don't have to do that at the bottom. Our family of 4 did the tubing only, it was $25 per person. All the activities are costly, they do offer a pass. Go in the morning to avoid crowds.
