Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park Reviews
Incredible place. I’m a huge fan of the cleanliness too. Kudos to whomever opened it! Looking forward to bringing the kiddos again next time I’m in town.
Feb 23, 2025 · Seani ThomasA hard 4 is what I would give my first experience at this particular location. The place is nice for the kids and not as expensive as you would think. Our only issue was paying for food that didn’t necessarily meet our expectations fully but we totally understand people have their days and this may have been an off day. I would recommend coming here for a night out with the kids . Make sure to have your coins up tho lol the massage chair was the best part for me. It really did the job
Dec 29, 2024 · William SandersMy six-year-old son and I arrived at Urban Air in Columbus, GA, around 2:30 PM on March 30th. My son was filled with excitement and ready to have fun, but that excitement quickly faded. As shown in the screenshot I uploaded, my son just wanted to play in the ball pit. He was off to the side, not bothering anyone and lost in his own little world. However, two station workers told him to get out because he could not just sit in the ball pit for safety reasons. I understand that there’s an obstacle course above the ball pit, but what child wouldn’t want to play in a 4-inch deep ball pit? I asked if I could go through the course with him, and the station worker said that was okay. We went through the course twice, and at the end of the second time, I was approached by the manager, Missy Thomas. She told me, "Hey Mom, I just wanted to let you know that we have Sensory Sundays from 10 AM to 12 PM because I see your child is 'different.'" Since this took place on a Sunday, I’m sure my son wasn’t the only child who might be considered a sensory seeker, but I was the only parent approached. From that moment on, things went downhill. I asked what the problem was; if I was allowed to go through the course with him, why was a manager being called over for a 6-year-old who just wanted to play in the ball pit?My son is nonverbal, which is part of his diagnosis. Being told, "I see your child is different," took me by surprise because I make a point to ensure my son is treated equally, just like any other child. We are all different in our own ways, and that should be recognized. Although Sensory Sundays may be a great option for some, my child simply wanted to be a kid! After that encounter, I stayed close to him at every station, so there was no need for anyone to push him along. The young workers at this location should receive training on how to interact appropriately with other people's children. In the second screenshot, you can see how he was pushed along while I was right there. I asked the station worker at that station, "What was the issue?" because he was just trying to get to the slide. The worker said, "I know they told us about him." At that point, I felt targeted. This was my son’s first time at Urban Air, and I couldn’t understand why he was being discussed among the staff. He wanted to go down the slide and had accidentally taken the wrong staircase but still ended up at the top of the slide. Instead of pushing him out, why not guide him to show the correct way to go?I requested to speak to the general manager because I felt my son was being singled out while no other parent was approached about their child. I explained my concerns and frustrations to General Manager Shantana Walker. I made it clear that I shouldn’t have to point out that other kids were flipping in an area where it clearly said, “No Flipping,” while my son couldn’t even sit in a ball pit!I was told this was not their intention. They had a manager who has two children on the spectrum and that’s why they created Sensory Sundays. I asked if, during Sensory Sundays, my son could play in the ball pit. I was told no, but that he wouldn’t be rushed out of the pit like they do during nonsensory hours. Why rush a child along? What if a child couldn’t walk but wanted to try the obstacle course? Again, every child is different, and I pointed out that there was a child in a wheelchair entering with their family when we arrived.I told Mrs. Walker that loud music and flashing lights do not bother my child; he simply wanted to play like any other child who sees a ball pit! I was given two passes to return during sensory time on a different day, but I won’t be returning. I gave the passes away because my son left in tears. Why would I come back?I understand that Michael Browning Jr., his father, and the staff take pride in creating a joyful and inspiring experience but unfortunately, this was our experience. My hope is that something positive comes from this, as I know I’m not the only parent advocating for equality for our children. Please do better!
Apr 01, 2025 · YaYa AmaniDefinitely worth it! My kids had a blast! We’ll be back again. Have lunch before going no outside food or drinks allowed in
Apr 02, 2025 · April KellyOne star taken off because the staff can be a little bit rude to the kids All past the staff is pretty good for the kids sometimes the staff aren't watching the kids when they do dangerous obstacle courses I've seen two kids get really hurt but no staff was watching but also really good because their trampolines are really good quality All of their little zones are so good they have little kids zones and big kids zones and then zones for everybody and zones for adults so I think thats pretty amazing. You should always watch children under four running around because it can be dangerous and staff can yell and be rude past that Urban Air is four stars watch your children staff rude fun though and great community great parents there kids there are willing to share they're willing to get their spot on the trampoline and if you're there and you could meet new friends and it's just endless possibilities.
