IGM Gymnastics Reviews
I have been taking my grand daughter here for open gym for about a year now , was even thinking I would sign up for preschool classes. Unfortunately there is a coach (Carrie E. )who heckles the parents and kids and completely ruins the entire experience. She tells everyone “ I work here” but she is never working the open gym . She allows her children to use off limit equipment and do flips , while charging across the gym yelling and humiliating parent and children for copying what her kids are using and doing saying she works there and her kids are trained so it’s okay . Super confusing for little kids to understand. She blocked off the foam pit on the one side and stood there telling kids they couldn’t play while her kids were playing behind her and in front of all the other kids . Just her kids were allowed because “ she works there” and they are trained” . Very sad, used to be a fun time. We won’t be back . Gleason s open gym is a great place and fair for all the kids to participate.
Apr 03, 2025 · Linda StormsIf you go to open gym and think you will actually get to practice gymnastics, think twice. Very disappointed. You are not allowed on any junior or high beams, no high bars, kids playing soccer on the tumbling floor which is an extreme hazard. Kids running everywhere. They even took the chalk away and told the girls they can’t use it (but you can use the low bars). I would give this less than one star if I could. Definitely not worth $15. Also, no way to sign up for open gym- we waited half hour in a long line to pay. Many other gyms around the twin cities have a much better experience and well worth the money.
Feb 17, 2025 · Christy BruceMy daughter is really enjoying her gymnastics class. She is learning new skills and having fun at the same time. She is always excited to go to IGM for her class. They offer classes for toddlers in a smaller area. Once children are five or older they offer beginner classes in the main gym. The levels go up through level 10 for artistic gymnastics. They also offer classes for rhythmic gymnastics as well. They always do a warm up and rotate practicing skills for the beam, bars, floor and vault. Sometimes they get to have fun on the trampoline, yet not each time. She was given a poster to keep track of which skills she has mastered by adding stickers.

Aug 18, 2023 · Kseniya DauhialaMy daughter has been attending IGM for 10 years now. She started as a level 3, she is now a 3rd year level 10. She has two state titles and couldn't be happier with her IGM family. The coaches are amazing and know how to push the athletes to their potential while maintaining a fun and more importantly safe environment. I highly recommend!!
