Funtopia Glenview Reviews
Jungle gym and caving system is in dire need of a good cleaning (inside and out). A thick layer of dust on all of the slides and crevices of the climbing ropes. My daughter would not go into the caving system because it smelled like poop. She seriously asked “daddy, did somebody poop in there?” It’s so nasty. The first thing my wife and I noticed was the extremely dirty black awnings. I recommend Kids Empire in Mundelein. Their facility is clean and the people who work there are nice and professional.
Apr 08, 2025 · Matthew BreindelSo many fun climbing walls and obstacles. Great for older kids and parents too! Elementary school and middle school age kids will love this. There is an auto belay system attached to each climbing station. You are on your own to clip in and out. Some of the clips are a little tricky. It's best to stay with your kids to help with the clips.Kids climb for $20 for 1 hour and parents that want to climb pay $10. The staff fits you into a harness that you wear for the duration of your climb. It's an extra $3 per person if you want to do the slide. Included: about 30 climbing stations, an overhead obstacle course, a tunnel cave and a soft climbing play area.Wear gym shoes and athletic clothes. No jewelry, Make a reservation in advance!
Dec 23, 2023 · Judy Pike LocherI recently took my son to Funtopia and it was an absolute blast! The facility was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our visit was definitely the rock climbing wall. My son is an avid climber and he was blown away by the variety of routes and the challenge of the wall. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, offering tips and encouragement throughout the climb. In addition to the rock climbing, there was a range of other fun activities for kids of all ages. My son loved the trampoline park and the obstacle course, and I was happy to see that there were plenty of games and activities designed for younger children as well.Overall, I had a great experience at Funtopia Glenview and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, active, and safe place for kids to play. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time, and I can't wait to go back again!
Feb 12, 2023 · Daniel Mirea Top Real Estate AgentTerrible Customer Service – Beware Before BookingI booked a birthday party for my son at Funtopia and called within 72 hours to cancel. I spoke with Maya, a manager at the Centralia location, and was told I’d need to call back. When I followed up 24 hours later to request a refund of my $100 deposit, they refused and told me to call corporate. When I said I didn’t want to deal with corporate, they hung up on me. Completely unprofessional. Do not do business with them — they will not refund your deposit, even if you cancel within a reasonable time.
May 02, 2025 · Orit SarbagilThis place smelled bad and was very dirty. The bathroom smelled absolutely terrible as well. One of the toilets were broken. The helmets were incredibly dirty and gross. They had a lice spray but yikes there was so much dirt and grime and crumbs in the helmet crevices I don’t know if I was more scared of the lice or the unsanitary levels of the helmet. I didn’t even know it was possible to have that much visible gunk all over inside the helmet. We paid for a time limit but we spent about a quarter of our time waiting around for someone to help us. The employees just stood there and weren’t very helpful. At one point all of them were just missing. Anytime I did ask for help, they seemed really bothered.A few were helpful when they were around so that’s why I gave 2 stars. But I won’t be coming back here.
