Funtopia Reviews
My friends and I brought our 5 children ages 6-12 to Funtopia. We spent $30/child for the all day pass. As this was our first time, I wasn't sure if $25/1.5 hours would be enough time to enjoy the facility so we paid the extra $5. This is mostly a bunch of climbing walls: a whole line of them on one entire wall. Luckily, they also have a ropes course to walk through (above) which is in 1 big square (shorter/younger kids can get off half-way through if they are under 54'', the 2nd half of the ropes course is much more difficult, I would recommend for over age 8 or 9). The ropes course is pretty scary, some of the kids told me so just keep this in mind, especially the 2nd half. They also have the Ninja obstacle course in the middle of the place and a giant metal slide that kids grab the bar and it pulls them up (they wear a huge body suit thing). Since this is so much upper body/using your hands to grip, the kids hands begin to hurt after a while. They also get really hot, so I would recommend lighter clothing (short-sleeve t-shirt and good gym shoes). They do have a water fountain available. In hindsight, I think 1.5 hours maybe would have been enough time as they were getting pretty exhausted when we hit the 2 hour mark (which is when we left). They only open the ropes course and giant slide when it is staffed, so it is not always open. So once they make the announcement to open these areas, I would encourage your kids to try it out if they are interested because it quickly closes again. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty slow (20 kids about). There is a small toddler area with flimsy bounce houses (the shorter kind) for younger kids around age 3. Overall, it was a great adventure. As it was our first time, I'm glad we got the all day pass, but in the future, I think I will go for 1.5 hours as they know what they are doing now. Enjoy!
Dec 30, 2024 · Shilpa JhobaliaFun places for kids and adults! Lot of different walls to climb, ninja course, and ceiling drop course too. My only complaint is the climbing walls need to be cleaned, and the latches are hard to click in and out of. Kids want to go back!!
Jan 18, 2025 · Taylor EntsmingerIf you like climbing and sliding this is a great location, also if you have a birthday party. You can spend several hours here having fun and enjoying . I went there for a birthday party , the rooms are pretty cool and large. Also there is a nice place for the toddlers.
Oct 21, 2024 · Sabrina GlavanWent to Funtopia today and it had been years since we were able to go. I will say the equipment feels safe but the fun features need maintained (lights turning on, wheels to adjust things fixed so they work) There are 4 stalls in the front women's bathroom. 1 stall was acceptable, 1 stall had stuff in it for the full 90 minutes we were there telling me employees don't check on that sort of thing, 1 stall had a seat that was broken and turned side to side and the handicapped stall would not shut and lock because the door was swinging out past the lock and could not be pushed back into place and latched. So how would a disabled person get privacy here if they needed to use the facilities? I feel like these small things diminish the quality of what could be a really great place. The kids want these buttons that light up the walls to work and the other features to all work and the adults would like a functioning rest room.
Jan 04, 2025 · FayeFuntopia is a consistently enjoyable experience. You can easily spend a good two hours there before the fun wears off. My only complaint is the price, which could be a little lower. Even so, the kids adore it, and it's a perfect way to spend a winter day.
