Billy Beez Crystal Run Reviews
I love coming here for the fun and convenience, especially during the winter when my kids need a place to burn off energy. However, the cleanliness definitely needs improvement. We arrived right at opening, and I noticed that the toddler area was already a mess, with toys scattered everywhere. The pictures I took were right when we first started playing. To be fair, there are areas that appear to be clean, so I don’t want to say they aren’t trying—but they do need to do better. I did notice a worker cleaning—but shouldn’t you be cleaning an hour prior to opening? Not as the kids are running around. I also saw him not rinsing the mop, he was using the same one throughout the entire facility, just spraying some cleaning solution as he went. This kind of cross-contamination is pretty concerning. Overall, it’s a great spot for kids, but the hygiene standards need serious attention.
Feb 18, 2025 · Steph RodriguezWe go here frequently. The staff is pretty much friendly. The place is clean, but the little town could use some improvement. I feel like the toys are left and not cleaned up daily. They are scattered out through the whole place the food I haven’t had the best experience with their pizza I have received pizza and it was burnt old and their prices could use improvement for what they are serving. I have a hard time getting waited on at the concession sometimes there is no one there and they have a bell you can ring and I have to walk all the way to the front to let someone know that I am wanting to get food, but their bathrooms are clean. The people are friendlyand overall the place is clean. Just could use some improvement on the little town.
Feb 17, 2025 · Jenna PinkThe place is fine to play in but a lot of it is lacking. The town area barely had any toys to play with and nothing was organized at all. Nothing was where it should’ve been so my son had zero interest in imaginative play because nothing made sense where it was. There was doctor office stuff in the pizza shop and groceries in the mailboxes. We were there about 5 minutes after opening and no one was there yet. The place should’ve been reorganized the night prior or before opening. There was also trash just around inside the tubes as well as dress up stuff in the tube area. There was also a clearly broken tube in the toddler area that was just covered up with caution tape instead of fixed and it seemed dangerous.Every hand sanitizer dispenser we tried was empty. The soap dispensers were empty and a lone soap pump was just placed on the sink. We tried using the family bathroom and it was locked and no one was inside. For half the price I would not have bothered writing a bad review but for that much money, it should’ve been cleaner than it was. It feels like it was set up years ago and largely left under the control of people that don’t care.
Jun 11, 2025 · Laura and Steve MirsikMy twins loved the little towns, and your kids will too! The slides were a bit too advanced for my toddlers, but we were more than satisfied with their experience in the toddler area. I felt reassured knowing there was a worker stationed there to monitor the toys and ensure no big kids were causing trouble. It’s great to see that this location has a little something for everyone!
Mar 23, 2025 · Blake AlbaneseJust wanted to share my recent experience with throwing my daughter’s 3rd birthday party at Billy Beezs in Middletown NY.In total I paid $443 for 13 children 13 adults and 3 seniors who I was told were free. I was told to arrive one hour early to have my balance paid and to check in. Once my guests started arriving around 1 pm with gifts, I asked if we were able to leave some items in the room beforehand so we didn’t just leave presents laying around the play area and the woman at the desk seemed extremely annoyed but told me I could leave gifts in there but that was it and that we weren’t allowed to hang out in there yet. Which is fine I understand we had the room from 1:15-3:15… but then all the socks they provided for the party were in the party room… so no matter what I still had to keep going in the room early to grab everyone’s socks. Not to mentioned there were two random children not in our group playing in the room unsupervised, moving around all the chairs and touching all the plates when I first arrived and I had to remove them myself.I was told the room would be decorated for us and I have to say it was the most pitiful display I have ever seen. There were maybe 5 streamers hanging down and the balloons taped to the ceiling looked like they have been there for months and every single one was almost completely deflated. Other than that there was absolutely no other decorationsAfter the majority of my guests had arrived I was called up to the front desk not once but twice to tell me I over over the amount of children and adults I had planned for and that I owed them more money…. which was absolutely wrong I had my guest list exactly as planned and had no extra guests showed up. I had to argue with two different employees to recount the guests on the sheet they had written down to the point I had to pull out my list on my phone and count out loud with them.Once that was finally figured out we finally got to start playing and almost everything in there is broken. The entire area with the balls that you can shoot up and around at each other was not working literally not a single thing actually worked when you pressed the buttons. In the toddler area there were many other things many things broken too as well. The entire play town was missing basically every single toy that is supposed to be there. Literally every room.. the doctors office, the school, the kitchen all were missing every single toy.We paid for the room from 1:15-3:15pm. I had asked when the pizzas are arriving multiple times between 1:30-2:15 and was repeatedly told they were coming soon. At 2:20 they made an announcement for my guests to come to the room and then we sat there another 15 minutes waiting until I went up again for the fourth time and asked about the pizzas…. They ended up not being delivered until 2:35!!! Which means we had to do pizza, cake, and birthday presents in a less than a 45 mins span. Not to mention I had multiple employees between 2:30-3 come in to remind oh how much time we had remaining in the room. I understand i booked the room for the specific time but the fact the pizzas were delivered so late was unacceptable. We were literally rush out of the room. They could have given us an extra few minutes considering how long it took for the food. But employees literally were waiting at the door at 3:15 for us to get out. For the room to remain vacant and uncleaned for almost an entire hour after we had vacated. One last funny thing was the fact that whomever called me to confirm my reservation Friday before the party made a point to tell me that the party hosts gratuity was not included ln the amount we paid for. I wasn’t aware I needed to tip anyone there and because of how badly everything was I opted to not do so.All in all it was a horrible party experience for the amount of money we paid for it. I will never recommend Billy Beez to anyone I know. I was told you guys handle everything and it was stress free and it ended up just being a horrible time.
