Excellent Value for Money: Customers consistently highlight that the pricing is reasonable, with one reviewer noting it "comes in just under $20 for my two boys to go," and stating that it's "not terrible price wise considering the area." Another review explicitly mentions "Prices are cheaper here," comparing it favorably to other local options like The Fun Factory in Salisbury regarding food and drinks. This affordability makes it a more accessible option for regular visits.
Ideal for Burning Energy: The active nature of the inflatables means children can truly "run around and burn off some energy." Parents often report that their children "can usually spend 2-3 hours there happily" and "definitely left tired," which is a significant benefit for active kids and their parents.
Great All-Weather Option: Xtreme Play is explicitly recommended as a "great place to go when it's too hot outside or raining." This makes it a reliable indoor alternative, especially important given North Carolina's varied weather patterns.
Positive Atmosphere for Younger Kids: The park is described as having a "good atmosphere" and being a "Great place for younger kids (2-10) to play," indicating a welcoming and child-friendly environment.
Areas for Improvement (Temperature & Cleanliness): While largely positive, reviews do highlight two areas for potential improvement: temperature control ("Kids were burning up in that place. It should be cooler in there. My daughter was drenched in sweat") and cleanliness of restrooms and seating areas ("Cleanliness issues with the restroom and overall seating areas"). These are points for visitors to be aware of.
Despite minor drawbacks, the overall consensus points to Xtreme Play being a highly enjoyable and valuable resource for local families, with its strengths in variety, value, and energy-burning potential outweighing its areas for development.

Xtreme Play Reviews
We have gone to Xtreme play many times and had our boys birthday party there as well. The space is well used and there are lots of inflates for the older kids and two aimed at younger kids (3 and under). My boys can usually spend 2-3 hours there happily. The snacks are very kid friendly and not a bad price either! It comes in just under $20 for my two boys to go, which considering the area isn't terrible price wise.
Apr 03, 2025 · Lyndsey FloydI took my 6 year old to Xtreme Play, today. Overall, it was a good place for her to run around and burn off some energy. Prices are cheaper here. Compared to The Fun Factory in Salisbury (food and drinks). Great place for younger kids (2-10) to play with a good atmosphere. Two reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars:1. Kids were burning up in that place. It should be cooler in there. My daughter was drenched in sweat.2. Cleanliness issues with the restroom and overall seating areas.Other than that, great place to go when it's too hot outside or raining. We would go back again.
Jun 08, 2025 · Ashley JI've taken my daughter here for the past year and she normally has a good time on the different slides and bounce houses. But after dealing with the most ridiculous "balloon guy" this Saturday, it will be the last time we come. He sets up an area in front of the toddler section and takes it upon himself to police every kid within his vicinity. You'll see him tying up balloon animals and yelling at kids to slow down, get off the equipment, etc. My daughter is 4. She was excited to be there and threw her socks off right after we entered. I was right behind her trying to pick them up and get them back on her feet when he yelled at her to get off the bounce house and put her socks on. I quickly put them back on her feet, and after she was so scared and intimidated by the way he reacted that she didn't even want to play anymore. We were there a whole 15 min. I can't believe the owner of this place would even allow this and I hope they read this review and do something about it. As a parent I don't need someone, especially some "balloon guy" trying to parent and police my child. We will be going elsewhere from now on.
Dec 22, 2024 · Rafael SantosThis is a good inexpensive way to have you children get rid of some energy. My 6 year old son was able to enjoy himself for 2 hours. It would be a 5 star if they did a rotation of the inflatables. It's only 5 ones, and they are quite large & high with slides- for older coordinating children. You do have a hard time keeping your eye on your child at all times also with the actual way the jumpers are just made (A concern when a smaller younger slow child encounters a larger rowdy older child(ren). After 45 minutes my child became more interested in running around playing tag & other games inside - which isn't safe - but he didn't want to leave. There was only one smaller jump house where kids could just jump instead of do an obstacle course, but it was 1 of 2 jumpers that was for children 3 yrs & younger. Why there isn't a jumper like this with an attendant to monitor is beyond me. My son kept asking to go just go jump but couldn't.Another grandparent atopped & commented to me several times how smart it was for me to have brought my own chair because he wish he had one as he was feeling the pain of having to be standing & constantly moving to see and watch his granddaughter. I had brought in my folding camp chair for comfort & ease of moving so I could be near each jumper my son was on to get the best view on him.If they added an older kids jump house, maybe put some monitoring cameras over the obstacle jumpers & got some decent chairs/ more of them in convenient places that allowed you to watch your children-this would be a much better experience for child & parents.
Apr 23, 2025 · Takia MitchellThe young girl at the front was very informative & kind. The kids had a blast. Blow ups are definitely not new. But do the job.Recommend this place!
