The design of their floating park elements encourages movement, balance, and fun, making it a highly interactive experience. Here are the key highlights that make WhoaZone a must-visit:
- Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course: This is the star attraction – a large, interconnected series of inflatable modules floating on Lake Grapevine. It features various challenges like slides, balance beams, climbing walls, trampolines, and monkey bars, providing an exhilarating "floating ninja course" experience.
- Variety of Obstacles: The course is designed with diverse elements, ensuring that every turn presents a new challenge or a different way to play. This variety keeps the experience fresh and engaging, encouraging multiple passes.
- Jump and Slide Elements: Numerous sections are dedicated to jumping platforms and thrilling inflatable slides, allowing visitors to launch into the refreshing lake water with a splash.
- Balance and Agility Challenges: Many components of the Wibit course test balance and agility, such as narrow walkways, wobbly bridges, and spinning elements, adding an exciting layer of challenge.
- Towers and Climbing Structures: Tall inflatable towers provide elevated vantage points and opportunities for more adventurous jumps or slides, enhancing the thrill factor.
- KidsZone (Separate Area): A dedicated, smaller inflatable course in a shallower area specifically for younger children (ages 4-7) ensures that even the littlest adventurers have a safe and age-appropriate play space.
- Scenic Lakeside Setting: Being located directly on Lake Grapevine, the park offers stunning natural views and the unique experience of playing on real lake water, as opposed to a chlorinated pool.
- Structured Play Sessions: Each session includes a brief but thorough safety briefing, ensuring all participants understand the rules and how to safely enjoy the course. This structured approach contributes to a secure environment.
- Physical Activity and Fun: The entire experience is a fantastic workout disguised as pure fun, making it an excellent way for families to stay active and enjoy the outdoors during the warmer months.

WhoaZone at Grapevine Reviews
Absolutely worth it! All 4 of us had a great time. Highly recommend getting the Family Fun 4 Pack (buy 3, get 1 free) for a single session, just plan to be there for about an hour. There’s a 10-min safety briefing, and then you swim out to the course yourself, so ~50 min of actual play time, which was plenty to do everything multiple times. We had a blast.Only downside: no lockers for personal stuff like keys or phones (not mentioned on their site). This was upsetting. Luckily, I had a lockbox in my car. Also… we were sore the next day which just proves how much fun we had.
May 28, 2025 · Xaerie NamnoriThis is the funnest thing you can do in the summer! It’s a floating obstacle course! How cool!? Take your kids, family or friends and enjoy what they have to offer. It’s look small from the shore but I promise it’s a lot of area to cover! They give you a life vest and you have approximately 45-50 mins per session to play. Enjoy! 😊
Jun 21, 2025 · KLynn JohnsonOverall we had a great time but I wish we would have known a few things beforehand. They start each session at the top of each hour so it's best to arrive 10-minutes before to get settled and sunscreened up. If you arrive 10 minutes past the hour they do not prorate the fee or allow you extra time at the end. Even if you arrive at the top of the hour though, by the time they get everyone on shore and they do the safety briefing and send the next group out - you still only have 50-minutes.On the website they do tell you that you have to pay $10 to get into the park before the cost of the Whoa Zone. Also, bring your own chair and umbrella. They charge you to sit at a picnic table or lounge chair. There are no trees or shade at the park.We purchased one hour and it was enough for our teenagers. Like I said, overall we had a great time but wished there was a little more flexibility with prorating the fees.
Jun 20, 2025 · Sarabeth QuattlebaumMy kiddo and I had a lot of fun. We only got to the first half and we had to go because of lightning. They were very helpful and rescheduled us for a different day. The location was nice and mostly clean. Staff was very helpful. We will be coming back soon
