We Rock the Spectrum - Audubon Introduce
For New Jersey families, especially those in Audubon and surrounding Camden County communities, finding a truly inclusive and engaging play space can make all the difference. We Rock the Spectrum - Audubon is not just any playground; it's a dedicated indoor sensory gym designed with the philosophy that "Finally, a Place Where You Never Have to Say I'm Sorry."™ This unique facility provides a fun and nurturing environment where children of all abilities can play, learn, and grow together, fostering strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills. It's a haven for families seeking a supportive and stimulating environment for their children, regardless of their developmental needs.
We Rock the Spectrum distinguishes itself by focusing on "Play with a Purpose," offering specialized gym equipment that assists children in their neurological growth and development. This includes a variety of swings, a zip line, a trampoline, imaginary play centers, and numerous puzzles and games. While it caters specifically to children with special needs, its all-inclusive design means that it’s a fantastic place for all kids to interact and play side-by-side, promoting understanding and acceptance in a joyful setting. This commitment to inclusivity is what truly sets it apart from many other recreational options in the area.
Customer testimonials frequently praise the positive impact of the facility. One parent enthusiastically shared, "My daughters 4th birthday was perfect! Denise ran a tight ship with our large crowd. They handled the pizza order and decorations. I did little to no work for this party and was able to enjoy with family and friends. Thank you so much!" This highlights the center's capability to host stress-free and enjoyable events, allowing parents to genuinely participate in their children's celebrations. The dedicated staff and comprehensive party services are clearly a significant draw for local families.
Another review speaks to the overall experience during open play: "This is a great place for kids to play. Lots of different toys and I must say it is very clean! Today was our second time here and while the first time was very pleasant, I felt today there were too many kids for the space and was a bit chaotic. There were a few kids that were being aggressive and physical with other kids and the parents were more concerned with their phones. Maybe have a limit on how many people can be there at one time and have a staff member watching over things so kids play nicely." This feedback, while pointing out a potential for overcrowding during peak times and a need for parental engagement, reinforces the overall cleanliness and the wide variety of engaging toys available. It also implicitly suggests a strong demand for such a valuable facility in the community.
We Rock the Spectrum - Audubon serves as more than just a play area; it's a vital community resource. Apr 07, 2023 · Veronica CruzAmazing spot. I went to meet other special needs parents and am blown away. The kids while loud were happy. Staff made sure everyone was safe and talked to the kids like human beings. They treated them with respect and the quiet room was respected. Headphones and sensory items on hand.I usually avoid play gyms with my son having different OT and sensory needs but not here.So happy!
Jun 06, 2023 · Tre RBest kept secret! We come all the time for open play and it is a great way for kids to burn some energy outside of the house. Especially great for younger kids and toddlers.
