For New Jersey locals, Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Toms River is presented as a premier destination for indoor amusement, offering a dynamic and engaging environment for active fun. The concept of an "adventure park" extending beyond just trampolines, with attractions like warrior courses, climbing walls, and more, certainly appeals to families seeking diverse entertainment options. Its convenient location in Toms River makes it accessible for a wide range of residents in Ocean County, providing a much-needed indoor alternative for physical activity, especially during New Jersey's varied seasons. The availability of EV charging stations is a modern touch that adds to the convenience for electric vehicle owners, showcasing an effort to cater to contemporary needs.
However, it is crucial for prospective visitors to approach this particular Urban Air location with tempered expectations, as highlighted by multiple customer reviews. While Urban Air as a brand often receives high praise, the Toms River franchise appears to have some significant operational inconsistencies. Reviews mention that "a lot of the activities were either partially or completely broken," with specific examples like only two working VR headsets out of an advertised area, and a climbing wall with a broken section. Furthermore, the absence of "Spin Zone Cars" despite being advertised on the building is a clear discrepancy that could lead to disappointment, particularly for those who have visited other Urban Air locations. These issues directly impact the value of higher-tier passes like the "Ultimate," leading customers to advise against purchasing them.
Beyond broken attractions, concerns about safety and cleanliness are paramount. Reports of "safety nets ripped from sharp railings" and a "staircase railing held in place with duct tape" raise serious safety alarms. The lack of sufficient staff monitoring activities, with "very few attendants monitoring activities" and "several people doing multiple front and back flips" unsupervised, further compounds these safety worries. Additionally, comments about "food wrappers and cups on several tables, as well as trash and gum on the floors and carpets throughout" point to significant cleanliness issues, indicating that the facility might not always meet expected hygiene standards. The refusal to honor corporate pricing options, citing franchise autonomy, also creates a negative impression regarding pricing transparency and customer service at check-in.
Despite these serious drawbacks, for locals still considering a visit, it's important to weigh the potential for fun against the reported operational issues. If the core trampoline areas are functional, and visitors adjust their expectations regarding other attractions and overall facility maintenance, there could still be an opportunity for some active play. However, given the consistent and concerning nature of the feedback, particularly regarding safety and cleanliness, locals in New Jersey would be wise to exercise extreme caution, perhaps calling ahead to inquire about the status of specific attractions and facility conditions, or visiting during off-peak hours to assess the environment before committing to a full visit or party booking. The potential for a fun experience might exist, but it appears to come with significant risks and diminished value at this specific location, making it less suitable for locals expecting the high standards typically associated with the Urban Air brand.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park Reviews
We've been to other Urban Air locations, and our kids loved them. To say this was a disappointment probably isn't strong enough.A lot of the activities were either partially or completely broken, the safety was lacking, there wasn't enough staffing, the lighting was terrible, and the water fountains didn't work.We paid for Ultimate, and there are only two things that gets you:1. A VR game area that only has two working headsets, and one working controller.2. A climbing wall with at least one broken section. There are no Spin Zone Cars, even though they're advertised on the front of the building. They did give me a partial refund for the Ultimate when I talked to them about the VR.I'm a fan of Urban Air, but maybe give this location a miss. If you do go, don't bother with the Ultimate, and temper your expectations.
Jun 16, 2025 · Rob AlexanderAt check in I was advised that the website is corporate and that they set their own prices as a franchise. And don’t offer the cheaper option. See photo with this location and price package they refused to honor. Many things in various states of disrepair. Staircase railing held in place with duct tape. Which appears to be the repair of choice for the facility. Safety nets ripped from sharp railings that they are adjacent to. On one of the deluxe attractions the bottom edge of the safety net was no longer attached to the rail.Very few attendants monitoring activities. Several people doing multiple front and back flips. There was a pretty light crowd and apparently the cleaning crew had left early for the day. There was food wrappers and cups on several tables. As well as trash and gum on the floors and carpets. Throughout. If you are going to deviate from the corporate standards and not offer the basic price package. You should at the very least provide a “Deluxe” experience.
Dec 23, 2024 · The EnforcerWe had a great experience for my twins, 6th birthday. From booking the party to the days leading up with confirmations and details, Rocco and his staff were wonderful. I was able to decorate our private room to my liking and the food and times were very prompt from start to finish. The best part is once the party is finished, the kids can continue to play for as long as they like. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
Sep 28, 2024 · Agustina WalukiewiczThe entirety of the staff is rude. The girl at the front counter with no name tag or identifying shirt that she works here, 6/15/25, was snotty and decided to argue about what size socks my brother needed. If the staff are going to ignore the floor mat with sizing, then don’t ask guardians what socks the child needs. Immediately when he put on the socks she determined that she knew better, they were too small and already falling off of his feet. It was obvious that she was annoyed that she had to do her job and just wanted to be on her phone. The attractions here are in sad shape and falling apart. I would not recommend coming here. Save your money and find something else to do. The staff don’t care about safety and seriously lack customer service.
Jun 15, 2025 · Anthony GoodinHalf the lights in the place are blinking. Led and definitely not intended to blink.Ropes in course are missing or ripped.Solid Edges of trampolines are caving in.Price definitely doesn't compare to experience in other locations.Half the courses are for shorter then 52".
