Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park, located at 333 Clarks Pond Parkway in South Portland, ME, offers just that – a dynamic indoor "amusement park" experience designed to bring exhilarating fun to all ages, from toddlers to teens and even adults.
Urban Air is more than just a trampoline park; it's a comprehensive adventure park that provides a wide array of attractions. Imagine bouncing on expansive trampolines that stretch to the walls, challenging yourself on a warrior course, or reaching new heights on a climbing wall. This indoor setting is a huge advantage for us here in Maine, providing a consistent source of active entertainment throughout the year, whether it's a snowy winter day, a rainy spring afternoon, or a sweltering summer heatwave. It’s a place where kids can truly burn off energy and adults can embrace their inner child, making it a fantastic option for family outings, playdates, or even a unique way to stay active.
One of the standout features that makes Urban Air particularly appealing to local parents is its thoughtful design for different age groups. As one grateful customer highlighted, there's a "dedicated area just for the little ones," which is a "huge plus" for toddlers and younger children, allowing them to play safely without being overwhelmed by bigger kids. This separation ensures a more enjoyable and secure experience for everyone, making it a truly inclusive environment for families with children of varying ages.
While the core attractions provide immense fun, as with any bustling entertainment venue, there are aspects that can impact the overall experience. Some visitors have noted challenges related to cleanliness in the bathrooms and the quality of food offerings. These are important considerations for any family-focused establishment, and it's always helpful for local patrons to be aware of these points to manage expectations and plan their visit accordingly. However, the overwhelming sentiment remains that the range of activities itself provides significant entertainment value, making it a popular choice for active fun.
Urban Air aims to be a go-to spot for birthdays and group events, providing an exciting backdrop for celebrations. The structured environment, coupled with the freedom to explore various attractions, creates a memorable setting for parties. They offer various access levels and memberships, providing flexibility for families who plan to visit frequently, reflecting their commitment to being a continuous source of local entertainment rather than just a one-off destination. This emphasis on providing value through different pass options makes it more accessible and appealing for repeat visits.
Ultimately, for Maine residents, Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park fills a vital role in providing engaging indoor activities. It’s a place where children can develop coordination, enjoy social interaction, and simply have a blast, while parents can find a reliable and active option for family entertainment. Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park Reviews
Urban Air Trampoline Park A Mixed Bag of Fun, Frustration, and Forgettable FoodUrban Air Trampoline Park is definitely a blast for kids ranging from toddlers to early teens (I'd say ages 2 to 16 really hit the sweet spot!). We love that they have a dedicated area just for the little ones, which is a huge plus – it's so much safer and more enjoyable for them to play without the bigger kids bouncing around. It's also fantastic that parents with small children don't have to pay a crazy price to supervise; I believe it was only about $5, which is super reasonable. However, my biggest gripe by far is the **cleanliness of the bathrooms**. My 20 month old needed to use the potty during our visit, and upon opening the door, I honestly wanted to vomit. The state of the bathrooms is unacceptable for a family-focused establishment. Someone really needs to be checking and cleaning those facilities at least once an hour, not just once a day! It detracts significantly from an otherwise fun experience. And then there's the food. While I didn't expect gourmet, it was pretty subpar, even for a place like this. I ordered nachos and literally received a bag of chips with a side of cheese – no salsa, no jalapeños, just chips and cheese. My son got wings, and they came completely plain, with no sauce, no BBQ, nothing. He ended up grabbing ketchup just to make them edible because they were so dry. Honestly, the only thing that was good were the Dippin' Dots!Overall, the trampolines and various attractions offer plenty of entertainment, and the separate "Littles" area is a huge win for parents. But please, Urban Air, address the bathroom hygiene and seriously reconsider your food quality – these are critical issues that significantly impact the overall visitor experience..
May 30, 2025 · Barbara MckenneyIt was very busy and kids had to wait a long time for the zip line. There was not enough supervision from staff and at times kids were obnoxious, but you can't tell strangers child to be safe...
Jun 01, 2025 · Jana BilodeauUrban Air is our spot! It’s perfect for all ages. I love the toddler section, my 4 year old and even my 7 year old both have a blast in there. My son loves the basketball nets and the dodge ball. The zip line is so much fun, I even do it!!One of the best things about Urban Air is that there’s no time limit on how long you can stay. Unlike other trampoline parks that restrict you to an hour or two, you can spend the whole day exploring, playing, and enjoying all the attractions. It really makes it feel like you’re getting the most out of your visit. Whether it’s the trampolines, climbing walls, or obstacle courses, there’s truly something for everyone. L
Jan 16, 2025 · Nikki LeRayBest place for a group event! We had about 35 youth from our church attend our event and everyone had a great time. Every single employee was super helpful and kind! I was not stressed at any point which is a plus for me :)
