Quarry Beach Adventure Park and Water Sports stands out for several unique features and highlights that contribute to its popularity among Wisconsin locals and visitors:
- Unique Quarry Lake Setting: Unlike traditional water parks, this facility leverages a natural quarry lake, offering a distinctive, scenic environment. The "fairly warm" water of the quarry is a significant draw, often being more comfortable for swimming than Lake Michigan's colder temperatures.
- Massive Inflatable Aqua Park Course: The large, multi-component inflatable obstacle course is a major highlight, providing active and challenging fun for kids and adults. Reviewers note the equipment is "in very good shape" and "sturdy," ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience despite the inherent slipperiness.
- Emphasis on Safety (Mandatory Life Vests): The requirement for all participants on the equipment to wear life vests is an "awesome extra safety precaution," particularly noteworthy as there are "not lifeguards" but rather beach monitors observing activities. This commitment to safety is highly valued by parents.
- Beautiful and Comfortable Sandy Beach: The presence of a "beautiful" sandy beach area with "comfortable" and "free beach chairs available" is a significant perk. It allows visitors to relax, sunbathe, or enjoy the water at their own pace without needing to bring their own seating.
- Friendly and Hardworking Employees: Customers consistently praise the park's staff, noting that "all the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful" and "working hard." This positive customer service enhances the overall visitor experience.
- Water Sports Rental Options: The availability of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards allows for varied water activities beyond just the inflatable course, appealing to a wider range of interests.
- Ample Parking: The "large parking lot" makes arrival and departure convenient, reducing common frustrations associated with popular attractions.
- Allowance of Carry-in Food (with restrictions): The policy allowing outside food and drinks (excluding alcohol and glass) provides flexibility for families, especially those managing dietary needs or budgets.
- Great for All Ages (with caveats for the course): While the inflatable course is challenging and "slippery" (leading to "dozens of falls" for kids), the beach and calmer water activities cater to younger children or those who prefer less intense play.

Quarry Beach Adventure Park and Water Sports Reviews
Very cool place. First of all, all the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. They're only seem to be a few, but they were working hard. I know every place is kind of shorthanded right now, so awesome that they can keep this place open. This park has a large parking lot, and we went early to try to beat the rush. For the first hour and a half or so it was not busy at all. They do require life vests if going on the equipment, which is an awesome extra safety precaution. This is especially good because there are not lifeguards. If just using the beach and staying in the shallow, they're not required. The water was fairly warm, and the equipment was in very good shape. Sturdy. Kids appear to have a good time, although to forewarn you, the equipment is slippery due to the water. Nothing you can really do to fix that, and my kids didn't seem to mind, but they probably fell dozens of times. I probably would have died. True story. The beach does have a variety of different types of lawn chairs available- bonus you don't have to drag your own here, yay! As it got to be later in the day, it did get busier. Warmer too. There are restrooms in the main building, a variety of snacks for sale- candy, chips, ice cream, and a couple of kayaks you can take into the quarry.
Jul 30, 2022 · J. GartyThis place is amazing! My kids had a blast and were exhausted after a hr on the course. The beach is beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. The facilities were clean as well. These pictures were from a year ago when we visited for the first time. We live 4hrs away but will be visiting again this month! My kids are so excited! I wish we had somewhere closer to home like this but sheboygan in general is a great place to visit and vacation!
Jul 05, 2022 · Sarah BridgesMy boyfriend and I enjoy coming to the Quarry for the 18 hole disc golf course. From the 7th basket and beyond is so amazingly beautiful walk through the woods . We have also walked around the quarry water pond it's always a wonderful feeling being in the great outdoors. I love Sheboygan.
Oct 06, 2024 · Elizabeth “Beth” RydbergAwesome place to be you can really relax and enjoy yourself with all the fun activities.
Dec 03, 2024 · Daniel HensiakThis is for the 18 hole disc golf course. First 6 and last two are in the open, others are mostly short around 200’, but generally heavily wooded with very thick brush at many locations. Many dual tee pads. Can be buggy in wooded area during wet periods. Challenging and fun course. Course is reasonable to follow, mostly by watching for open trails away from the baskets. Some parking by #1 fairway, or lots by water park.
