Monkey King Play Palace Reviews
It was great. $25 per child, though it felt worth it on rare occasion even though we were there for under 2 hours. I was impressed by the very large huge play areas, I had fun myself following them around.Note: They require socks, not shoes or barefoot. Though I (metaphorically) roll my eyes at socks being safer; my 3 year old slipped running on the floor and hit her head. The food was pretty good, not the place to go for a huge meal or for super healthy food, but they have burgers, PB&J, salad, fries, fruit, spring rolls which we loved (and decent price), we probably spent about $50 on food but you can get a single item for less than $10.
Mar 07, 2025 · Joshua MathiasToday was our first time visiting this place, and it was a great spot for kids to play while parents could relax a little. However, I believe parents should still be paying attention to their children. My son is less than a year old, and while he was in the designated under-4 area, older kids were running around carelessly. Because of this, my husband had to hold him multiple times to keep him safe. I also feel that the staff should be more attentive to concerns like these. An additional solution could be adding a more eye-catching sign to reinforce the age limit. Of course, it would also help if parents were more mindful and actively supervised their children.
Mar 24, 2025 · gabriela calderon lopezI was skeptical because of the Google reviews. But a friend of mine said his kids had a lot of fun. So we went anyway. After visiting the place, I think the Google reviews can actually go lower. 1). Like most people said, it is absolutely overpriced. We were charged $25 for each kid. It is pretty small. And no readmission is allowed. 2). The food is insanely expensive. 3). Last but the not least, the owner was so rude. Our one and half years old has several allergic reactions during the past and hence, we are very careful about her food. We gave her several baby puffs when she was hungry and there were two left in her bag. When I ate the last two, the owner yelled at me like I told you no outside food or drinks. I explained to him that this is for the baby. He said: but you were eating it too. Haha~~ Anyway, we will never go back again.
Feb 17, 2025 · Marcia GarciaMonkey Palace in Beaverton is much smaller than expected, and at $30 per person for access to both playgrounds, it feels overpriced. If the owner lowered the price to around $10, it might be more reasonable. Additionally, the food menu is overly expensive, and the owner's attitude came off as a bit snobbish. Overall, I don't recommend this place based on my experience.
Sep 05, 2024 · Damien FloresHate to leave this review but had an extremely uncomfortable experience here today. We have been here a ton. My kids love it. It’s overpriced but a good activity on a rainy day. The establishment doesn’t allow outside food and drink. I have a child we allergies and have always brought my own simple, pre packaged snacks. I’ve been approached once, explained that we have allergies and would not be eating the food they have there and have never had an issue. We went in today, we were the only people there, I gave my kids an applesauce, the owner approached us. I explained our situation and this just got him going on and on about lawsuits, and parent being high and drunk, and that he was going to have to close the place because kids were being poisoned while there. I stayed calm but he just kept going and going so we ultimately decided it was in our best interest to leave. My son was upset we were leaving as we had only been there for a short time, the owner started talking to my kids about poison in the food, I had to tell him not to talk to my children. Very weird and uncomfortable situation over a applesauce packet. The owner literally drove out the only customer of the morning. Super weird, and uncomfortable. Unfortunately will not be going back. The owner needs to take some classes in handling customers, compassion and tact.Adding to this as well, the one time I did order food there for myself, it came out still frozen inside (potstickers). The staff remade it when I very nicely brought it to their attention and when the new one came out they were completely burnt. This was something I’ve never brought up because it wasn’t worth it but now that we’ve had the experience above I figured I’d add this as well.Unfortunately, won’t be going back. Lots of options in the area, definitely chose one who actually cares about their customers.
