It’s a place where energy can be unleashed, and memorable moments are made, making it a popular spot for locals looking for active fun in the Ann Arbor area.
Launch Family Entertainment aims to be a go-to spot for everything from casual visits to elaborate birthday parties and group events. With a focus on active play attractions, alongside an arcade and dining options, it strives to create a well-rounded experience. While individual customer experiences can vary, particularly concerning operational aspects, the core appeal lies in the sheer volume and variety of physical activities available under one roof, providing a valuable option for Michigan families seeking year-round entertainment.
Launch Family Entertainment Ann Arbor is conveniently located at 800 W Eisenhower Pkwy, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, USA. This prominent location situates it within the Cranbrook Village shopping center, a well-known commercial area in Ann Arbor. Its accessibility from major roadways like I-94 and US-23 makes it easy to reach for residents not only in Ann Arbor but also from surrounding communities in Southeast Michigan, including Ypsilanti, Saline, Dexter, and Brighton.
The facility benefits from ample parking available within the shopping center, which is a significant convenience for families and groups, especially during peak hours. This ease of access ensures that visitors can arrive and depart with minimal hassle, allowing more time to enjoy the attractions inside. For Michiganders looking for a readily available indoor amusement option, the Ann Arbor location of Launch offers a highly accessible and convenient choice.
- Trampoline Courts: The core of Launch is its vast interconnected trampoline courts, offering plenty of space for open jumping, bouncing, and freestyle fun. This allows kids and adults to expend energy and enjoy a unique form of active play.
- Dodgeball & Basketball: Integrated trampoline zones specifically for dodgeball and basketball allow for enhanced, high-flying versions of these classic sports, adding an exciting, competitive element to the jumping experience.
- Ninja Course: For those seeking a challenge, Launch features a "ninja-style obstacle course" with elements like a trapeze, spider wall, and swinging monkey bars, designed to test agility, strength, and balance.
- Rock Climbing Wall: Visitors can test their climbing skills on an indoor "Cliffhanger mountain" rock climbing wall, offering another vertical challenge.
- Battle Pit: This area allows for activities like jousting matches, providing a fun and safe environment for friendly competition.
- Arcade Games: Launch boasts a large arcade with a variety of classic and modern games. Credits for games are loaded onto cards, and tickets won are also deposited onto these cards for redemption at the prize counter. While popular games may not always offer ticket wins, the arcade adds another layer of entertainment.
- Krave Restaurant: An on-site eatery, Krave, offers food options including made-to-order pizzas, appetizers, slushies, fountain drinks, and ice cream. While one customer noted limited availability of items, the presence of an in-house restaurant provides convenience for longer visits.
- Birthday Party Packages: Launch is a popular venue for birthday celebrations, offering various packages that typically include jump time, a reserved party table, pizza, drinks, and arcade credits. However, it's worth noting that party rooms may be semi-private, with multiple parties in one area, and some customers have experienced challenges with dedicated host services or outside food policies.
- Toddler Time: Specific sessions dedicated to younger children (ages 5 and under), usually held during off-peak hours, provide a safer and less crowded environment for toddlers to explore the attractions.
- Home School Fridays & Sensory Friendly Jump: Launch offers specialized programming like Homeschool Fridays and Sensory Friendly Jump sessions (with reduced music and special effects) to cater to diverse community needs and preferences.
- Massage Chairs: A notable amenity for adults, the presence of massage chairs offers a relaxing respite while children play.
- Expansive Active Play Area: The sheer size and variety of trampoline zones, coupled with the ninja course, rock climbing wall, and battle pit, provide ample opportunity for active and engaging fun for a wide age range.
- Diverse Entertainment Mix: Combining physical attractions with an extensive arcade, and on-site dining, makes Launch a comprehensive amusement center, appealing to varied interests within a family or group.
- Modern Facility: As a relatively new or updated facility (taking over a previous location), Launch presents a clean and well-maintained environment, contributing positively to the overall experience.
- Convenient Card System: The use of game cards for both credits and ticket redemption streamlines the arcade experience, though guests might need to be mindful of rapid credit depletion and managing multiple cards for children.
- Options for Adults: The inclusion of massage chairs for parents and the general appeal of the arcade and physical challenges to older visitors makes it more than just a kids-only venue.
- Specialized Programs: Offerings like "Toddler Time" and "Sensory Friendly Jump" demonstrate an effort to be inclusive and cater to specific community needs, enhancing its suitability for diverse Michigan families.

Its strength lies in providing a vast indoor space packed with diverse physical activities, including trampolines, ninja courses, and rock climbing walls, alongside a substantial arcade. Launch Family Entertainment Ann Arbor Reviews
First time at Launch Ann Arbor. The facility itself is fun for kids—plenty of space to jump and play—but the overall experience was poor. The check-in process is painfully slow and inefficient, made worse by disengaged staff who seem more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. There’s virtually no supervision—kids were throwing dodgeballs in non-dodgeball areas, hitting others who weren’t even playing, and no staff were around to intervene. In fact, staff were almost impossible to find—no one at the counter to buy water, ask questions, or get assistance. It felt like the workers just disappeared. They also charge $75 to bring in any outside food, even something small. The on-screen waiver system is slow and frustrating—adding a keyboard would help. And while the facility seems very buttoned-up legally (you have to sign a 10-page waiver), it’s clear that corporate has focused on protecting itself, not on ensuring these places are well-managed or provide good customer experiences. The whole thing feels unorganized and poorly run. Not a place I’d recommend for large groups or events. See photos can’t find anyone who works there.
May 03, 2025 · rupert nicolayIt was absolutely the most fun I had taking the gbabbies out. The massage chairs were a plus for me. At some point, I turned into a child myself! Found Groupon deal, super affordable package that included socks, 60 credits of game play, and all day access to the active play area. But honestly, 2 hours is enough time before the kids get hungry. I left to eat. They were sold out of almost everything at the indoor eatery. They only had ice cream. But most of the toppings were unavailable also. My vegan self didn't care, I couldn't eat anything there except a pretzel, but that was sold out too.Lockers provided only cost $1. Or free shoe slots available. Everything was clean, and no feet smells, lol. I never seen an adult working. Every employee looked 18. However, they were patient with 1st time patrons like me.Tickets won on arcade games are deposited onto the game play cards that hold the credits to play. Most of the popular games don't offer ticket wins, like basketball, driving, and more. Side note: You need a secure pocket that zips if holding children's cards for them when they're playing, so u can play, lol. All the cards look the same, so figuring out who's who for ticket redemption prizes was work. Also, teach the children to tap once to play a game. They tapped multiple times and the machine just added up all the purchased credits, depletingtheir card credits rapidly. The child would run off, not understanding they have more game play left.Overall, a good time.
Jun 20, 2025 · Chantel WesleyA bit of a sensory overload for moms like me, but boy do my kids (8, 5, 3.5) love this place. It feels very safe and generally clean. There are plenty of areas to spread out and they love the decent arcade also. Great activity for a cold winter day when you want to wear your kids out!
Feb 19, 2025 · Becca HoganThis going to be a very mixed review. The place is clean first of all, this is what Drew is to come here and not go to other similar places. The pizza is decent for what it is. The cheese sticks are absolutely awful and should not be purchased. I feel like if they improved on the quality of food is and quality of food choices they could make more money from it. We have already decided to spend so give us better options. Also upgrade the kitchen a bit to make it more user friendly for the cooks. Like o said mixed review, kids have fun better food could make it more enjoyable for the adults. I started with 3 starts but ended up at 4 because the staff was so great.
Sep 22, 2024 · jonathonshort33We had a blast for my son Maizens 5th birthday. Daniela was our past host and she was phenomenal!
