Silver Stars Gymnastics Reviews
My girls love Solver Star gymnastics. The coaches are patient and they work with each child without favoring one over the other. Both my three year old and eight look forward to going each week. It is also a good outlet of energy for my ADHD daughter. They have multiple times and classes to meet different needs and levels.
May 08, 2025 · Pduyah YahyisraelMy daughter has been a competitive tumbling and trampoline (TNT) gymnast with Coach Juwan since she was 3-4 years old. She started on pre-team and has worked her way up to Nationals where she placed 18th in the country this year on double mini trampoline (DMT). Now 10, my daughter has never asked to miss a practice or a meet. She has never been injured (except for one careless "dive roll" - basically a somersault in a routine warm up). My daughter is playful and serious. She always seems to have fun and learn new skills (building mental strength with physical). Her teammates are her friends. You will not find a better coach in the DC area than Coach Juwan in my opinion If you're considering superior competitive coaching in a supportive and challenging environment, consider the competitive TNT team.
Aug 02, 2024 · Rebecca ScritchfieldBest kid friendly gym there is. Awesome equipment. Highly coordinated. Parties too! Lots of TVs so you can watch your kids.
Jun 07, 2025 · Ben HopeBeen bringing my 4 year old child here for over a year and it's her favorite day of the week. Great staff and plenty of equipment to keep the kids interested and building balance/gymnastics skills.
Apr 21, 2025 · Will DayMy son attended his first ever gymnastics class last week at 3:30. He is 3.5 years old so I signed him up for the Twinkling Stars class because it is for 3-4 year olds. It was my expectation that the class would start with simple, achievable tasks as it was only the beginning of the session. My son was nervous, but bravely participated in the first stretching activity with no complaints or tears. However, when the class moved to more dramatic tasks he did not have a good experience. He was placed in a position to flip over a bar after only 20-30 minutes in the facility for the first time in his first ever class. This was very scary to him. He had not yet built trust with anyone in the class and had never performed anything close to this activity. When he began crying he was not comforted, but left to break down. Eventually he was pointed towards the door where he could return to where the caregivers were located. He has indicated he would like to not do gymnastics again. My son is very active and loves jumping and tumbling. I was really hopeful this would be the perfect activity for him. I'm disappointed he was not able to experience gymnastics in a supportive and safe environment. I understand from the FAQs that refunds are not offered but I was hopeful my experience would be important to the owners. I emailed the office to see if they could offer another option that would be more appropriate for my son and have not heard back.
